Accor is a France-based company engaged in the global hospitality industry. It has two core business segments, hotels and services. Accor manages 470,000 bedrooms in almost 4,000 hotels across 90 countries. Its hotels are operated under a series of brand names, notably Novotel, Mercure, Sofitel, Suitehotel, Ibis, Etap Hotel, Formula 1, Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn. Its hotel segment also includes travel agencies, such as Accor Vacances, Accor Thalassa and ClubMed; restaurants, such as Lenotre, and casinos, such as Groupe Lucien Barriere. The services segment of the Company is managed by Accor Services, which designs, develops and manages solutions to help businesses and public bodies devise new ways of motivating and winning the loyalty of their employees and citizens. Solutions include luncheon vouchers, gift vouchers and childcare vouchers.
