The services and products offered by the Company include local exchange services, wireless communications, long-distance services, data/broadband and Internet services, telecommunications equipment, managed networking, wholesale services, directory advertising and publishing. AT&T operates in four segments: wireline, wireless, directory and other. The Company groups its operating subsidiaries corresponding to its four operating segments: AT&T wireline subsidiaries provide primarily landline telecommunications services to residential, business and governmental customers, both domestically and internationally; AT&T Mobility LLC (AT&T Mobility) provides both wireless voice and data communications services across the United States, and through roaming agreements, in a substantial number of foreign countries and is held by a wireless subsidiary of AT&T; directory subsidiaries provide services related to directory advertising and publishing, and other subsidiaries include Sterling Commerce Inc. (Sterling), all corporate and other operations, and BellSouth Corporation (BellSouth).
