CMS Energy Corporation is an energy holding company operating through subsidiaries in the United States and in selected markets around the world. Its two subsidiaries are Consumers and Enterprises. Consumers provide natural gas and/or electricity to 6.5 million of Michigan's residents and serves customers in 68 of the state's Lower Peninsula counties. Enterprises, through subsidiaries, is engaged in energy businesses in the United States and in selected markets. It has three segments: electric utility, gas utility and enterprises.
