Deutsche Lufthansa AG is a globally operating aviation group with around 400 companies and subsidiaries (collectively the Lufthansa Group). During the year ended December 31, 2006, the Company operated in six business segments: Passenger Transportation, Logistics, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Information Technology (IT) Systems, Catering and Leisure Travel. The Passenger Transportation includes Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Lufthansa CityLine GmbH, Air Dolomiti S.p.A., Eurowings Luftverkehrs AG and Germanwings GmbH. The Logistics business operates through Lufthansa Cargo group. The Catering business includes LSG Lufthansa Service/Sky Chefs group. IT Services is operated through Lufthansa Systems group.
