The E. W. Scripps Company is a diverse media concern with interests in national television networks (Scripps Networks), newspaper publishing, broadcast television, interactive media and licensing and syndication. All of the Company’s media businesses provide content and advertising services via the Internet. Scripps Networks includes five national lifestyle television networks and their affiliated Websites, Home & Garden Television (HGTV), Food Network, DIY Network (DIY), Fine Living and Great American Country (GAC). Scripps Networks also includes the Company’s 12% interest in FOX Sports Net South, a regional television network, and its networks operate internationally through licensing agreements and joint ventures with foreign entities.
