(RTTNews) - Entertainment and media company Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc.(OUTD) Wednesday said two new fishing shows will come to Outdoor Channel in 2011. The new slate of fishing shows will complement its already robust roster of top industry talent and stars, the company said.
According to the company, the new shows, Buccaneers and Bones and Fishing University, are established shows, which include celebrated entertainers and lauded hosts and will provide every angler a chance to dive into the exciting world of fishing.
Buccaneers and Bones will feature renowned television anchor Tom Brokaw, Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actor Michael Keaton and Friday Night Lights' Zach Gilfordas as they explore the wonders of bone fishing and tarpon fishing around the world. Buccaneers and Bones, was formerly on ESPN2 and is presented in partnership with the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust.
Fishing University, will be hosted by Charlie Ingram, and will provide informative episodes on the skills needed to fish like a pro. The series will be narrated by Brokaw. Fishing University, which was formerly aired on Versus, is an educational fishing show, aimed at helping viewers learn success-oriented fishing skills and refinements.
OUTD is currently trading at $5.48, up $0.14 or 2.62% on the Nasdaq.
