(RTTNews) - Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (OMAB), reported consolidated net income for the second quarter of Ps. 85 million, an increase of 68.9% from Ps. 50 million in the year-ago quarter. The increase was mainly due to a higher level of operating income and lower tax provision.

Earnings per share for the second quarter were Ps. 0.21, or US$0.13 per American Depositary Share, compared to Ps. 0.13, or US$0.08 American Depositary Share in the prior year quarter.

Total revenues for the second quarter increased 20.5% to Ps. 530 million from Ps. 440 million in the same quarter last year, with growth in both aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenues.
