Orckit Communications Q2 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Orckit Communications Ltd. (ORCT) Wednesday reported a wider second quarter loss of $7.75 million or $0.40 per share compared to a loss of $5.26 million or $0.32 per share last year.
Revenues for the three months dropped to $1.66 million from $4.10 million last year.
Izhak Tamir, Chairman and President of Orckit said, "--The second half of year is expected to show a significant improvement in top-line growth. We currently expect revenue for the third quarter to be in the range of $4 to $5 million, which is up considerably from the third quarter last year and from the second quarter this year."
