(RTTNews) - Mining and construction company Macmahon Holdings Ltd (MCHHF.PK, MAH.AX) announced full year profit after tax of A$37.9 million, an increase of 120% on the prior comparative period of A$17.2 million. Earnings per share were 5.2 cents per share, up 68% from the previous year.

Revenue was marginally lower at A$1.25 billion, impacted by client imposed cancellations and scale backs during the second half of 2009, as a result of the global financial crisis.

The company said that directors have declared final unfranked dividend of 1.5 cents per share. Combined with interim dividend of 1.5 cents per share, total dividends have increased by 100% to 3 cents per share.

Looking ahead, revenue for 2011 is expected to exceed A$1.25 billion, with growth above this level dependent on the amount of new work secured in the coming months.
