AMEC Receives ??60 Mln Contract From EDF Energy To Extend Gas Storage Facility In Cheshire - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AMEC Plc (AMEC.L) announced that it has been awarded a contract worth over ??60 million by EDF Energy to extend a gas storage facility in Cheshire.
Under the terms of the contract, AMEC will design, install and commission the filtration and compression facilities, after-cooling, de-hydration, metering and utility equipment.
The company noted that engineering will start immediately with planned completion in July 2012, after which it will be well positioned for future asset maintenance work.
