New Zealand Sees Largest-Ever July Visitor Arrivals

(RTTNews) - Visitor arrivals in new Zealand increased 4.0 percent in the July 2010 month, the highest level ever for July, according to a report released Friday by Statistics NZ.
July 2010 Visitor arrivals totaled 182,900.
Statistics NZ said the increase was primarily due to increases in the number of visitors from China, Japan and Australia.
New Zealand residents departed on 208,500 overseas trips in July 2010, an increase of 5.0 percent on year.
Permanent and long-term arrivals outpaced departures by a seasonally adjusted 1,000.
