Work-flow Automation Goes Live At Central Vigilance Commission; TCS

(RTTNews) - Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. said its solution for core work-flow automation at the Central Vigilance Commission or CVC had gone live.

The new solution will enable the CVC to speed up the pace of processing cases and complaints by automating administrative tasks, providing faster access to information and allowing CVC officials to complete investigations more efficiently.

TCS said the new automated work-flow system would assist CVC employees to process complaints as per the the established procedures and rules laid down by the organization. In addition, the new solution would help CVC automate administrative tasks and maximize the time and energy of the staff for core vigilance work of CVC, thereby improving the time cycle of investigating complaints.

Set up in 1964, CVC is India's apex vigilance institution, monitoring all vigilance activity under the Central Government. It also advises central government organizations in planning, executing, reviewing their vigilance programs.

TCS shares are currently trading at Rs.835, down by 1.38% from the previous close on the BSE.
