FuelCell Energy Q3 Net Loss Narrows

(RTTNews) - FuelCell Energy Inc. (FCEL) reported a narrower net loss for the third quarter, due to lower costs and expenses, and higher product margins.
Net loss to common shareholders narrowed to $13.8 million or $0.15 per share for the third quarter from $15.7 million or $0.21 per share in the prior year quarter.
Total revenues for the third quarter declined to $18.9 million from $23.0 million in the year-ago quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.15 per share for the quarter on revenue of $18.79 million. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
