Luna Gold Identifies 10 Gold Targets At Aurizona Project In Brazil

(RTTNews) - Luna Gold Corp. (LGC.V)said Thursday that 10 gold targets have been defined by surface geochemical surveys and geologic mapping at the Aurizona gold project in Maranh??o, Brazil.

The company said shallow auger drilling at the Boa Esperan?§a target has intersected a continuous zone of gold mineralization exceeding 500 metres in strike and 100 metres in width.

Luna's President & CEO, Jim Bahan, commented, "The results of the surface programs are very encouraging and indicate that the Aurizona Main area holds significant exploration potential. All targets defined to date are located within a 5 kilometers radius of the Aurizona gold process plant."

Luna's VP Exploration, Titus Haggan stated, "Surface exploration programs at Aurizona Main have accelerated and the Company currently has 5 teams working in this area."

LGC.V is currently trading on the TSX Venture Exchange at C$0.54, down C$0.02 or 3.57%. Over the past year, the stock has traded in a range of C$0.35 - C$0.81.
