Mariner Oil Rig On Fire In Gulf In Mexico

(RTTNews) - The Coast Guard is responding to a fire at a Mariner Energy rig off the coast of Louisiana.
Helicopters from Houston and are reportedly en route to the shallow water platform 100 miles off the coast of Grand Isle, Louisiana.
Mariner says no oil has been spilled as a result of the accident, and the all well at the location were shut in.
The Coast Guard told various media outlets it was responding to reports of up to 13 people in the water. Mariner has since confirmed all 13 people have been accounted for and are safe.
