Atacama Minerals Slips To Loss In Q2 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Atacama Minerals Corp. (AAM.V) reported a net loss of US$1.9 million or US$0.01 per share for the second quarter, compared to net income of US$2.1 million or US$0.01 per share in the prior year quarter.
The company attributed the net loss for the quarter to foreign currency translation losses and higher exploration expenses relating to the Salvador potash project.
Revenue for the second quarter decreased to US$7.4 million from US$7.6 million in the year-ago quarter.
