Adira has signed an Addendum to the detailed drilling contract it has with Noble International Ltd. concerning the Company’s drilling licence for the Gabriella petroleum prospect in the Mediterranean Sea, offshore Israel. The Addendum contains an amendment that allows the Gabriella consortium to take possession of the Homer Ferrington rig after the completion of its current drilling program, which is up to three months earlier than originally anticipated. (2) Adira has been granted an extension of the date of execution of a drilling contract for the first well on the Yitzhak licence offshore Israel - from December 31, 2012 to June 30, 2013.

Microbix has reported financial results for Q4/F2012 and full-year F2012 (ended September 30). In F2012, there was strong underlying growth in virology product sales (up 15%), although lower contract sales and higher expenses resulted in a slight increase in operating losses, to $2,636,800, compared with $2,566,094 in F2011.

Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund - The royalty pool of Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund has been adjusted effective January 1, 2013 to include royalties from seven new restaurants that were opened across Canada between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012. Six of the restaurants are full-service, and one is a fast-casual location. Two other full-service restaurants were permanently closed during the period.

Rainbow Resources has intersected silver and gold mineralization near-surface in the southern section of its 100%-owned Gold Viking property near the village of Slocan in southeast B.C. The property had not been previously drilled. Plans are underway to initiate a step-out winter drilling program at Gold Viking.

Bioniche has published an update on the return to Bioniche of global rights to Urocidin™ from Endo Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Endo Health Solutions. In exchange for the Agreement, Endo will receive a 5% royalty on future net sales revenue for a term of 10 years from the first commercial sale of the product or, on a country-by-country basis, until the last of the valid patent claims covering the product has expired or been validated.
