Other important UK data still to be published this week includes the CBI Survey of Industrial Trends and Public Sector Borrowing. The latter will feed into budget speculation. The next batch of opinion polls will move the pound around and the currency market is clearly ‘voting Tory’. The pound has also got an additional boost today from the unemployment figures.
