Views on markets today
- After opening higher with a gap on Friday, the Sensex could not maintain the momentum and closed marginally positive. It was clearly the day of the mid-caps with the latter indices outperforming the broad market indices, with the A-D ratio marginally positive.
- Asian markets are trading in positive territory on the positive closing of US markets last Friday. We expect Indian markets to open strong on positive cues from the Asian markets.
