Libra Group announced its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kin Xin Engineering, has been awarded two air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation works contracts total worth approximately $14.4 million, and the termination of the Philips Project contract.
The first contract is by Deenn Engineering for the supply and installation of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation works for a proposed construction of multi-storey vehicle storage and support facilities at Selarang worth $9 million.
The second contract has been awarded by Kim Seng Heng Engineering Construction for the installation of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation and fire protection system for a proposed erection of an 11-storey Singapore Cultural Centre worth $5.4 million, scheduled to be completed by August 2016.
In the same announcement, the group announced the contract awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Libra Building Construction, for works in relation in supply, delivery and installation of the architectural works for the Philips Project worth approximately $13 million has been mutually terminated by SH Design & Build, who will compensate $350,000 to Libra Building Construction.
