Technics Oil & Gas announced that the group’s subsidiary, Technics Offshore Engineering, has been awarded a $70.5 million contract for the construction of a Liftboat for an established regional player based in Malaysia.
The Liftboat is expected to be delivered within two years and there is an option as well to construct a similar unit that can be exercised within six month.
The award marks the firm’s largest win in 2015 and is said to be a testament of its advanced technology, strong engineering capabilities, innovative design, experience and proven track record in the oil & gas field, which gave it an advantage over other competitors.
