Sable Mining Africa Ltd. announced further positive assay results from the Company's resource drilling campaign at the 123.5 sq km Nimba Iron Ore Project ('Nimba') in southeast Guinea. The combined weighted average returned for 13 plateau 2 holes was 19.83m at 61.52% Fe. Importantly low contaminants continue with average contents of 3.58% SiO2, 2.85% Al2O3 and 0.09% P. The Direct Shipping Ore potential of Nimba is further reinforced by these latest results. Drilling remains on-going and focused on targeting additional haematite bearing intersections of canga material.

Stellar Diamonds has raised £346,520 before expenses through the issue of 10,828,750 new ordinary shares at 3.2p per share, a premium of 6.6% over the midmarket price at the time the subscriptions were agreed. Of this £311,250 was provided by the Company's largest shareholder Nassim Funds, which has increased its stake from 11.1% to 14.0%.

Strategic Minerals has appointed David Anderson to the Board of the Company as Finance Director with immediate effect. A chartered accountant, formerly with BDO LLP he was most recently interim Finance Director of Hakkasan Limited, owner of two Michelin starred restaurants in London and Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP as an Audit and Advisory Partner.

Sylvania Platinum Limited. announced that operations have resumed at Sylvania's Mooinooi and Millsell plants ("the Western Operations") in the Bushveld Igneous Complex, South Africa. The return to work by its employees will give Sylvania the opportunity to conclude the wage negotiations at the Western Operations following on the recent announcement reporting a settlement at the Eastern Operations. A further announcement will be made regarding the finalisation of negotiations with the National Union of Mineworkers ("NUM") in respect of the Western Operations in due course. The various reported stoppages due to industrial action at the Western Operations have caused a loss in production estimated.
