Strike Minerals, Shoreline, Cadillac Ventures news briefs
Strike Minerals has published sampling results from the first lift on the Edwards #1 zone above the 60-metre level at the Company’s Edwards mine project northeast of Wawa, Ontario. The lift created about 225 tonnes of mineralized material. Muck samples at eight-foot intervals from the first lift returned an average grade of 38.98 g/t Au over a 1.5-metre width over a length of 24 metres. Chip samples taken across the back after removal of the first lift returned a weighted average grade of 15.39 g/t Au over 1.5 metres for a length of 24 metres.
Shoreline has published record reserves and reserves value growth according to its 2012 year-end reserves evaluation (Canadian and U.S. assets) in accordance with NI 51-101. Highlights included: (1) proven plus probable reserves (2P) increased by 41% to 7.28 million barrels of oil equivalent, and total proved reserves (TP) increased by 18% to 4.4 million barrels of oil equivalent; and (2) 2P reserve value increased by 71% to $107.1 million, and TP value increased by 62% to $75.7 million, despite a significant drop in prices realized for natural gas.
Cadillac Ventures has issued highlights from its recently completed drilling program (five holes over 1,450 metres) at its Burnt Hill mine project in central New Brunswick. All of the drilling occurred outside areas of known mineralization. The campaign intersected mineralization in each of the five holes, thus expanding the area of the Burnt Hill mine site.
