USA stock market daily report by Millenium Traders (June 25, 2009, Thursday, 10.30 p.m. GMT)

Date: 25 June 2009

Inflation, something we can't avoid but something we can't afford in the times we're in. Inflation is the word on everyone's minds, are they going to raise prices, or are they going to let everything alone.  "Inflation will remain subdued for some time," the central bank said in a written statement. Investors on the other hand are putting their money in commodities such as gold and platinum because they hold their value during inflation.  In the economic strain we're in inflation would do nothing but hurt the average American, the dollar wouldn't stretch very far and peoples  income would not increase, making it harder for them to retire. Other than the obvious reasons, it would decrease the amount of the dollar, making it harder for Americans to travel abroad and would also make it harder to  buy imports. Inflation may not happen right now, but it a serious problem that everyone should be afraid of.

Latest USA Stock Market Reports
US stock market daily report (September 08, 2010, Wednesday)
Yesterday's global news caused stocks to fall but, investors focused their attention towards the U.S. economy. As good things were reported around the globe today, investors were able to put that concern in the back of their minds and allow stocks to rally. Yesterday it was reported that debt European banks carry was higher than originally reported in stress tests performed earlier in the year. At an auction today, there was a really high demand for Portugal's debt. The news helped push European markets higher along with U.S. markets. There was also news on the yen from Japan today. This morning Japanese finance minister Yoshihiko Noda gave a speech on foreign exchange. Noda said that currency intervention could now be possible; the yen has reached a 15 year high versus the dollar. He also acknowledged that the yen could hurt their exports and also heighten the risk of deflation.

US stock market daily report (September 07, 2010, Tuesday)
Stocks fell today as investors began to worry about European banks. Reports released today show that European banks have more risky government debt than originally reported early this year in a stress test. Investors were really concerned earlier this year with all of the problems going on in Greece, but fears were subsided after the release of the stress test. This means that banks may have to charge higher fees and it also means that these banks are going to have to raise more capital to reinforce their balance sheets. It has always been a concern that the liability of these stress tests are a little less than sound; investors will wait to hear more news from these banks to see exactly what information was and was not included in the last set of tests.

US stock market daily report (September 02, 2010,Thursday)
Wall Street investors remained cautious today as the latest news on job recovery did little to boost spirits. Today's report on unemployment was better than analysts' expected, but still more sluggish than they would like. Despite the slow recovery in the troubled job markets, analysts' say that the labor market is recovering better than it has in the past. In the worst time during the recession the unemployment rate hit a staggering 10.1%, the rate has since dropped to 9.5% according to recent reports. That is the quickest recovery seen throughout the years. If you look back through the numbers over the past recession, they proof is there to support it. After the 1990 recession ended, the economy shed another 300,000 throughout almost the whole year following.

USA Stocks Recommendations
Intel Corp. (Nasdaq:INTC) is poised to top estimates over the next two quarters, 8 September 2009
Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) is a cyclical company.  That is, its stock does extremely well when the economy is ready to accelerate, and does poorly when the economy decelerates.  So it’s no wonder that last year the stock fell more than 50% from the record-high of $27.78 a share it reached December 2007. However, the company has rallied more than 50% from its Feb. 23 low of $12.08 a share. It closed Friday at $19.64.

Verint Systems price target reduced, 7 December 2007
RBC Capital Markets reduced its price target on Verint Systems from $34 to $25.
