Murphy Oil Corporation (Murphy) is an oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company’s refining and marketing operations are conducted in the United Kingdom. The Company’s exploration and production business explores for and produces crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids around the world. This business maintains upstream operations in other locations around the world, including Calgary, Alberta and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Murphy’s exploration and production activities are conducted in various segments, including the United States, Canada and Malaysia. In the United States, Murphy primarily has production of oil and/or natural gas from fields in the Eagle Ford Shale area of South Texas and in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. In Canada, the Company owns an interest in three the Hibernia and Terra Nova fields offshore Newfoundland. In Malaysia, the Company has majority interests in seven separate production sharing contracts (PSCs).
