Make Marbella Your Place in the Sun When Choosing Where to Buy an Oversea’s Property

Have you ever dreamed of owning a “place in the sun”?

If so, what area’s are you going to consider?

Will it be Florida in America, the West Indies, Dubai, Australia??

The major consideration for any of the above is not only the flight times to get there but also the time difference once you arrive. If you fancy a long weekend in one of these destinations you will need another couple of day’s rest when you return! Not convenient and not practical.

With this in mind you really need to consider Europe which is only a short flight away and just one hours time difference.

Where in Europe should I consider investing not only my money but also my time when I get there? The obvious answer to this question time and time again is the only and only Marbella.

Now it is well documented that in recent years Marbella has suffered greatly from the administration that was in power for some time. The good will and name of Marbella was tarnished and it has taken the great work of the new Mayor, Angeles Munoz, to clean up the area and to drive it forward.

There have been many residential schemes that have been built in and around the Marbella area that did not have the necessary planning consents. The current administration have taken time and effort to re-visit such schemes and have now applied the planning consents and a local plan going forward (PGOU) so it is clear now where residential scheme’s can or cannot be built.

There will be no worries now about purchasing an apartment in Marbella that has wonderful green views, only to find that in a year or two your distant seaview has been obstructed by a four storey apartment building.

The centre of Marbella is literally on the beach, with a wonderful paseo extending through to the millionaire’s playground known as Puerto Banus.

Marbella central is one of the most enchanting resorts along the Costa del Sol, with a picturesque old quarter full of interesting little restaurants, notably Orange Square, and many shops to explore.

Thanks to Costa del Sol’s climate, sunbathing on the beach is virtually a year-round option.

With many flights every day into Malaga airport from most parts of the UK, Marbella really does have everything to offer.
