- Sirius Minerals has announced that it has started drilling on its North Dakota property. The hole is to be drilled to a total depth of 2,740 metres and should be completed, including analysis of the core, within approximately two months.

- This is the first potash exploration hole to be drilled in North Dakota in decades and so the results will be highly significant both for Sirius and for the region.
