Indian stock market daily closing report (September 13, 2012)

Indian markets traded in a short range today on the back of six days rally. The market participants remain cautious to day ahead of an important global as well as domestic event. Fed is expected to ann ounce economic stimulus or bond b uying programme to boost the economy, in its meet today. The /August headline inflation data is due tomorrow. BPCL en ded up 2% today on the hopes of fuel price increase by the government.
The breadth of the market was negative in today's trade.
