Indian stock market daily closing report (September 26, 2012)

The Indian markets ended on a negative note in a lackluster trading session ahead of Sept series expiry tomorrow. The markets remain in consolidation mode today on the back of smart rally in the current expiry. The global cues remain negative today due to lingering European Debt Crisis. Riots in Spain ahead of a new round of austerity measures dampened investor’s sentiments across the globe.

The breadth of the market was negative in today’s trade.
