Russian stock market daily evening report (August 09, 2010, Monday)

Stocks

Market today. The trades still are little active. The market climbed a little in the morning, corrected in the afternoon. Among the liquids we might outline Norilsk Nickel with the news on Voloshin (chairman of the company’s board) having signed the protocol o the shareholders’ session: now there is no obstacle to payoff dividends by the results of 2009. Some demand was indicated in several power energy companies.

Market tomorrow. We do not expect any serious changes from the market. Unlikely the investors’ activity returns to the formed levels.
 

 
Bonds
 

Market today. A kind of calmness ruled the corporate bonds ruble market, the prices of the main liquids moved laterally. Single activity of the participants was on the 11th issue of AIZK, which was accompanied by the 6th issue by TransCreditBank (on the threshold of tomorrow’s placement of 5th issue by the given issuer). Participants organized a rally at the Russian Eurobond market in the afternoon, which resulted in Russia 30 sovereign loan having broken through the level of 118.40 by the close of the Russian session.

Market tomorrow. We expect the lateral motion to remain at the domestic market while there are no significant events or stats.
