Russian stock market daily evening report (August 17, 2010, Tuesday)

Stocks
Market today. The market participants were set for climbing today. Good stats on the European Union and the U.S., along with oil prices growth leaded to upping in Russia. The most demand was for the shares of the metallurgy workers (Severstal, NLMC and MMC)
Market tomorrow. Unlikely there will be any significant variations indicated at the market tomorrow - summer vacation time is not over yet.
Bonds
Market today. The quotes of the principal liquid notes went lateral at the Russian market of corporate bonds. Participants of trades showed low activity.
High turnover volumes were indicated on the notes of metallurgy workers: Norilsk Nickel MB-3, and the issues of Sibmetinvest and Evraz. The Russian Eurobond market climbed slightly up due to positive from the foreign markets. So, the sovereign loan Russia 30 closed near the level of 118.40 by the end of the session.
Market tomorrow. Totally good foreign stats and growth of the oil quotes will make their positive effect on the markets, however, for now we see not significant reasons for remarkable change of quotes.

The number of new construction grew in the U.S. by 1.7% in July, upping by 2% was expected; producer prices in the U.S. grew in July by 0.2% as expected. (Interfax)
