(AAG) is a holding company and through its wholly-owned subsidiary, American, and later, US Airways Group, operates within the airline industry through two major network carriers. The Company operates in four segments: Mainline Passenger, which provides a range of freight and mail services to shippers throughout its system onboard its passenger fleet; Regional Operations, which carry passengers to its hubs from low-density markets that are uneconomical for the Company to serve with large jets; Cargo, which provides air cargo operations; and Other, which offers marketing services related to the sale of mileage credits in the AAdvantage and Dividend Miles programs and membership fees.
